Tournament 2017 in Krefeld, Germany
On February 4th and 5th of 2017 the ACC system was first used in an official tournament in Krefeld, Germany.
Three screens were evenly positioned between the nine targets. Plexiglas panes were put in front of the (basic) screens, protecting them from arrows that missed the target. During the tournament the time-mode was used, allowing the archers to not only see the colour of the signal light but also the remaining time. All of the screens were connected to a computer that was running the display client in the web browser. The computer was set up behind the safety net.
The signal light was operated by using the control-system running on a laptop which was positioned next to the line of fire. This allowed the person operating the light to have a perfect overview of the event. Furthermore the laptop was connected to two large speakers that played toot-sounds when necessary. While the archers were collecting their arrows the speakers were also used to play music.
